Right of Withdrawal

(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.)

1. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within one month without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is one month from the day

  • on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take(s) possession of the goods, or
  • in the case of a contract for multiple goods ordered in a single order and delivered separately, on which you, or a third party designated by you, take(s) possession of the last item.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form attached below for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication regarding your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

2. Withdrawal via Button

You may also declare your withdrawal directly using the withdrawal button provided on our website. By clicking this button, you submit a clear declaration of withdrawal.

After submitting your withdrawal via the button, you will promptly receive confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email).

3. Consequences of revocation

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

4. Return of Goods

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

5. Compensation for Diminished Value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this diminished value results from handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to examine their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

6. Reasons for exclusion or expiration

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

  • for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
  • for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose use-by date would soon be exceeded;
  • for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed when the contract was concluded, but which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and the current value of which depends on fluctuations on the market over which the entrepreneur has no influence;
  • for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts

  • for the delivery of sealed goods which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return if their seal has been removed after delivery;
  • for the delivery of goods if these were inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their nature;
  • for the delivery of sound or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been broken after delivery.
